Well, hello.
So, right, we did this Action Project for CSPE. We had to. Did you know it is worth 60% of the marks? So, even if you got 100% in the written exam (You'd have to be a certified GENIUS to do that, heh heh...) it would still only be a D. Without the project.
So, the project is actually rather important. We did ours on FairTrade, because, you know, FairTrade is interesting. And the hot chocolate is gorgeous.
Well, we invited in a guest speaker who was really nice. She was from the FairTrade Ireland Branch and she told us all about the work they are doing everywhere. FairTrade make loads of stuff, as well. I think you could probably do your shopping and have most of the things in your trolley FairTrade. If you know the right places to shop, of course.
because only twelve towns in Ireland are certified FairTrade towns. That's none! They should really do something about it. They must be really picky about who gets the title, because around forty-eight towns applied for it! Talk about inequality!
What else can I say? It was a brilliant talk. I might even put up some of the statistics we learned. If I need to.
So, now I'll go find a nice template for this page and that should be enough.
Okay, be good. Make your mum buy FairTrade bananas when you go shopping next time.
Ciao.
